Although the season is now well advanced the Pullman service has not been put into effect. Last summer and for several preceeding summers the Washington sleeper which stops at New Eern, was brought on to Beaufort. In pre ceding yesus a (lee per was brought down from Greensboro. In so far as Beaufort and Morehead City are concerned the sleeper from the west is preferred to the Washington car in summer as there is much more tiavel from up the State to the coast than from any wheie else. In Winter however the Washington car would be of considerable service. As comes now. Secretary J. P.
